Just like how Dragon’s Crown is a homage to 80’s belt-scrolling action games with RPG elements, Unicorn Overlord will act as Vanillaware’s revival of 90’s tactical RPGs that established the genre, like the Shining series, Fire Emblem, and Final Fantasy Tactics.
