McKellen had joked at London's British Independent Film Awards on Tuesday night that he was only attending in the hope of smooching hunky Bloom. However, when the 26-year-old arrived and was asked about the cheeky remarks he failed to see the funny side. He coldly shot back, "I'm not gay. I've got a girlfriend."

Viggo's New LoveLord Of The Rings star Viggo Mortensen has found himself a new lady - and she plays a policewoman on a British television drama. The hunky actor, who attained cult status as Aragorn in the film trilogy, spent all weekend holed up in a Paris hotel with pretty Josie D'Arby, who stars in the cop drama Merseybeat. Josie, who once presented the famous British music program Top Of The Pops, jetted off to Danish Viggo's side on Friday for a romantic weekend. They only left the exclusive George V hotel on Saturday to attend a cast party for The Return Of The King, the final installment in the Peter Jackson fantasy film series. According to Britain's The Sun tabloid, thrilled Josie told a friend, "I first saw Viggo in Lord of the Rings. We met through friends and get on really well. I think he's gorgeous. I'm not naive - he's a big movie star and I don't expect him to become a permanent boyfriend. It's early days and it may not come to anything - but who knows?"

Je me suis dit que si j'étais moi-même acteur, je pourrais être pilote de chasse ou cascadeur comme dans L'homme qui tombe à pic."
