"The Hobbit: It was known a while back that the film rights to JRR Tolkien's "The Hobbit", the single-book adventure which also serves as a prequel to the events in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, were obtained by New Line in order to stop other studios or filmmakers coming in and cashing in on what is one of the biggest film franchises in history. Peter Jackson also indicated a while back he has zero interest in turning this adventure into a film. Well in a recent interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, he's still not keen on the idea but isn't shutting that door entirely - "People ask if I'm going to do 'The Hobbit' as my next film, and the answer is no. I think when I'm done with this trilogy I'll need a break from this theme and move on. I'm not saying never, but certainly not immediately". Ben, comme le dit l'article, ça fait un moment que les droits ont été achetés. Ce qui est " nouveau ", c'est que PJ n'excluerait pas de s'en occuper, mais comme on nous dit tout et son contraire à ce sujet chaque semaine...

En tout cas s'il le font, ils ont intérêt à la fair evite parce que Ian Mc Kellen ne va pas vivre éternellement, il ne va pas falloir attendre 20 ans comme pour les Star Wars...Thys

Effectivement il serait dommage d'attendre trop longtemps pour faire l'adaptation et manquer des acteurs qui seraient indispensable pour que cela soit cohérent avec la trilogie :oBrulons un cierge et prions pour que PJ ne se repose pas trop longtemps après la sortie du Retour du Roi
