Jamais entendu parler ni du livre, ni de l'auteur ni d'une parution chez Bragelonne ;)Avec ce que je viens de trouver sur internet ça a l'air d'être une histoire où les zombies sont apparus sur Terre dans un futur proche et chamboulent la société. A voir :mellow:

En fait Deadline est la suite de son roman intitulé Feed et qui racontent le quotidien d'une équipe de bloggers décidés à devenir les stars du "journalisme sur le net". Pour ça, ils mettent les petits plats dans les grands avec leur van de retransmission mega high tech et partent en zone interdite pour filmer les zombies qui y vivent. Car oui, depuis 25 ans, les zombies sont apparus sur Terre.Les deux titres des romans sont donc des jeux de mots en anglais. Feed comme pour les flux RSS et Feed comme la nourriture... qu'on donne aux zombies ;)Même topo avec Deadline même si c'est moins simple à expliquer peut-être : la deadline c'est le jour fixé aux journalistes pour rendre leur papier, leur article et... l'instant de la mort?Enfin les traducteurs qui passent sur le forum sauront sûrement mieux faire comprendre ça que moi je pense ;)Ces livres ont eu un bon accueil aux US.Je ne m'attendais pas à voir ça chez Bragelonne en fait. J'aurais bien vu ça chez Eclipse :D

Priest, pourra donc râler sur ces deux prix puisque l'homme qui ne travaille pas assez, j'ai nommé China Miéville, est nominé dans chacun d'eux pour son livre qui est censé "ne pas être bon"...

China Miéville ne remporte pas son 4e Arthur C. Clarke Award puisqu'il a été attribué à Jane Rogers pour son roman The Testament of Jessie LambChristopher Priest est rassuré?En tout cas dans son article assassin, il en disait plutôt du bien (un peu de mal aussi mais surtout du bien^^):
Of the six shortlisted novels, I can find only one which I think is something we should be proud of. I refer to The Testament of Jessie Lamb, by Jane Rogers (Sandstone Press).
However, it deserves its place on the Clarke shortlist, and if things go on as they are at present it ought to win.
